The Apple iPhone has still not been released but some accessory manufacturers are already showing off their iPhone cases, I guess its all based on the official specs, photographs and videos available on the iPhone. I had covered iPhone cases announced by eZGear and Prima last week and today is the turn of an iPhone case from DLO which also has the neat headphone management system.

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO), a leading supplier of accessories for mobile devices which will soon become a unit of Philips, has also released photos of Jam Jacket for Apple’s iPhone similar to ones available for iPod video and iPod Nano.
Some features of the iPhone Jam Jacket are as mentioned below:
- Grip-able silicone case
- Headphone Management System secures cord and earbuds (more details below)
- Comfortable, form-fitting scratch and slip protection
- Access to hold switch, headphone jack and bottom dock connector
- Charge and sync your iPhone without removing it from the case
- Will probably be available in Black and Clear

What is this Headphone Management system?
Tired of dealing with tangled cords and dangling earbuds? The integrated Headphone Management System on the back of the Jam Jacket will allow you to neatly wrap your headphone cord behind your iPhone, and safely stow your earbuds while not in use. When it's time to jam, unwind only as much as you need – the handy side-notches will hold the cord in place, keeping the excess cable wrapped and out of your way.
No price and release date information is available at the moment.
“Along with the Jam Jacket, we’re working on several products for the iPhone which you can expect to see announced shortly” a DLO representative said.
I guess with the revolutionary multi-touch interface such iPhone cases would indeed becomes essential especially if you do not want your iPhone to get scratched or soiled.
