Which one will be your "God Machine"? Apple iPhone VS HTC Touch

With the launch of Apple's much-hyped iPhone now only a couple of weeks away, I am sure many of you have already made up your minds to camp outside Apple or AT&T stores to be the first to get their hands on the iPhone. However with a string of announcements  by Apple's comptetitors of new version of their own smartphones dubbed as iPhone killers I am sure there are a sizeable number of those who are sitting on the fence unable to decide which one of the new smartphone should they buy.

It has been a pleasure to bring you comparison of Apple's iPhone versus Helio Ocean, Nokia N95, BlackBerry Curve (8300), Palm Treo 755p & Motorola Q to help you take a more informed decision. However, the good news (gives you a wider range to choose from) or bad news (if it wasn't confusing enough) depending on the way you look at it is the list does not seem to end there.

In last few weeks there has been quite a bit of buzz surrounding HTC's Touch running on Microsoft's latest Windows Mobile platform (Windows Mobile 6), so let us see which smartphone will win the battle of the "God machine", Apple iPhone or HTC Touch after the jump.

Email reminder from Apple: Get ready. iPhone is coming June 29.

Apple announced the official release date of iPhone, probably the much awaited gadget in a decade with the roll out of three iPhone Ads on 3rd June and followed them with another iPhone ad later in the week.

However, Apple wants to be sure that all those who had shown interest did not miss the release date of iPhone as they have now started sending out an email notification informing everyone of the launch date.

Stephen Colbert over at Comedy Central also wants an iPhone (funny video)

We are not the only one who wants to get their hands on Apple's iPhone, Stephen Colbert, the three-time Emmy Award-winning American comedian, satirist, actor, and writer, over at Comedy Central also wants one, and that too free.

First it was Conan O'Brein who came up with some pretty funny iPhone commercial spoof andnow its Stephen Colbert poking some fun at the iPhone.

Another Apple iPhone TV Ad: Peek @ iPhone's Browser features

Starting Sunday we had the news of the release date of Apple's long and eagerly awaited iPhone with the rollout of 3 iPhone Ads, if those were not enough we had a spoof ad created by a fan based on 2001: A Space Odyssey. But that doesn't seem to be the end of the story, another Apple iPhone TV Ad (fourth official ad announcing the release date) has just surfaced on Apple's website. Should we be expecting more of these ads? I am sure no one is complaining.

2001 - A Space Odyssey: An iPhone spoof ad

As you all know Apple announced the release date of the iPhone by rolling out 3 iPhone ads, if that was not enough for you, here is a iPhone spoof ad that shows the iPhone sitting in for the Monolith in this 2001: A Space Odyssey mashup.

A similar spoof video was also done on the iPod (2001 - A Space iPodyssey), so the iPhone (2001 - A Space iPhoneyssey??) definitely is in some good company.

iPhone Roundup from last week | iPhone Release date, Third party app, Google apps and lots more

I am back to recap all the news, rumors and speculations about the iPhone in the last one week (May 28th to June 3rd, 2007). The good thing about last week was that we did get some iPhone news rather than just iPhone rumors; especially the news about the release date of the iPhone yesterday which was confirmed by Ads available on Apple's website that the iPhone will be launched on June 29th.

All this is only building more expectations for what some have called  “the God machine” and its safe to say that the iPhone hysteria is beginning to reach levels usually reserved for video-game machines at Christmas. If May's craze was "American Idol" then June's will be the Apple iPhone, which I can already sense is inevitable.

Apple & AT&T Ad confirms iPhone "Coming June 29th"

The release date of the iPhone has finally been confirmed, Apple and AT&T advertised tonight on television that the iPhone will be available starting on June 29th, 2007.

Though the ad was first available as a YouTube video, Apple has now posted three iPhone ads on their website.

The YouTube videos of all the three ads as well as some observations from the ads are available after the jump.

iPhone accessories | Belkin's Armband for iPhone

Belkin Corporation was honored with iLounge's coveted "iPod Accessory Maker of the Year" Award in 2006. So with most of the iPod accessory companies making announcements of accessories for the soon to be released iPhone, tauted by many as the most anticipated gadget in history, it comes as no surprise that Belkin wants a piece of the action in the iPhone accessory segment.
