Dock: The iPhone hack which enables scrolling on iPhone's home screen

With the flurry of iPhone hacks and applications since iPhone's launch; the real estate on iPhone's home screen has got that much more precious. Until now iPhone users have been limited to just 16 applications on the iPhone home screen.

This is all set to change thanks to the latest iPhone hack from Natetrue, the hacking genius. The hack called "Dock" brings scrolling to the home screen so you longer have to worry about the 16 application limit.

WebEx's PCNow brings Corporate Email, Skype to the iPhone via remote desktop

One of the disappointments of the iPhone for business users has to be the lack of support for corporate email and hence people still need to depend on their smartphones such as BlackBerry as it is compatible with your company's BlackBerry Enterprise server with support for Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino, or Novell GroupWise to deliver corporate e-mail in real time.

Business users have some good news, WebEx has just launched an iPhone compatible version of its PCNow software to give corporate users a way to access Outlook e-mail via their iPhone.

iPhone Unlocking: Software-only iPhone hack could be released in the next 48-72 hours

The companies which have claimed to have developed the first software-only hack to unlock the iPhone seem to be falling over each other to be in the news.

As earlier today iphoneunlocking.com had released a video to confirm that their software unlocking method does exist. iphonesimfree.com the other company whose software method was tested successfully by Ryan Block from Engadget has just published an FAQ on their website in which they have mentioned that they are hoping to release the iPhone hack in the next 48-72 hours.

iPhone unlocking: Video confirms that the software iPhone hack exists

The software unlocking method by hackers at iphoneunlocking.com might have ruffled AT&T in unleashing lawyers after them to stop the release of the software. However, that has not stopped John McLaughlin of iphoneunlocking.com from releasing a six-minute video on his blog to confirm that the latest iPhone hack i.e. software-method to unlock the iPhone does exist.

iPhone Hackers strike again: Another method of unlocking the iPhone

The four methods of unlocking the iPhone especially the software method claimed by folks at iphoneunlocking.com and then confirmed by Engadget seems to have ruffled folks at AT&T as we are getting reports claiming that AT&T has unleashed lawyers on iPhone hackers.

But this has not stopped a trio of iPhone hackers from Israel from claiming that they too have a method of unlocking the iPhone, which is similar to the hardware method published by iPhone hacking genius, George Hotz, but without the need for soldering whatsoever.

You might already know it but when I read this trick over at iPhone Central @ MacWorld, I thought of sharing it you. One of the features missing in the iPhone is it's lack of integrated support for MMS. If you were used to using MMS in your previous mobile phone then it can be that much more painful. However, there is some good news for you.

You can make use iPhone’s built-in support for email to work around this lack of functionality to send and receive picture messages and importantly without the need of some nerdy iPhone hack.

iPhone Tips & Tricks: Fix for iPhone's low ringer volume

One of the complaints of the iPhone, probably the most hyped gadgets ever created, has surprisingly been iPhone's low ringer volume. It seems to be well below the standard, in terms of volume, established by other mobile handsets.

Most of the users have blamed iPhone's tiny speakers to be the culprit of this problem. However, as per folks at iPhoneAlley, the culprit could be the audio itself and not the speaker.

Breaking News: Teenager unlocks the iPhone as his summer project

I had published a post yesterday of the four methods of unlocking the iPhone, while the latest update is that software method has got caught up in a legal tangles, the Associated Press news agency has just confirmed that George Hotz, a teenager, has indeed unlocked the iPhone and used it on AT&T rival operator, T-Mobile.
