You can now Opt Out of iPhone’s Data Plan

If you mostly use iPhone's revolutionary Internet capabilities over Wi-Fi and can do without EDGE then you could save $20 a month as per the latest iPhone news.

It seems like you can now remove iPhone Data plan from your plan. To do this you need to login to your AT&T myAccount page, go to the Add/Remove Features section and opt out of the data plan as you can see in the screenshot below.

That amounts to a saving of $240 per year, however do remember that removing the data plan would be at the cost of Visual Voicemail and internet access on the go wherever there is no Wi-Fi available.

    This option is no longer visible when I logon to my ATT account.

    What did they do with it @$#%^@$#% ?

    Well I was reading in their page and it says it is mandatory and they have the right to add this feature if they realiza that the feature is not on the account! Peaches
