Apple iPhone UK Launch: First iPhone Queue Spotted in London
If you have been part of the iPhone frenzy since Steve Jobs Keynote address in January, then you must have read all about Apple fanboys camping outside Apple and AT&T stores all over US to be the first to get their hands on the iPhone, easily the most-hyped (deservingly) gadget ever created.
iPhone will be launched in UK at 6.02pm at Apple stores, O2 stores and The Carphone Warehouse and Germany through T-Mobile tomorrow (9th November) and though there isn't much happening over in Germany, the first queue has been spotted outside Apple's Regent Street store in London with Graham Gilbert, a 22-year-old computing student bagging the honor of being the first in the UK iPhone queue. He turned up at 8:30am to secure the first place.
More details and links to live blogging from Apple's Regent Street Store available after the jump.
As mentioned earlier, the queues have begun to form outside Apple's Regent Street store in London with Graham Gilbert, a 22-year-old computing student bagging the honor of being the first in the UK iPhone queue. He turned up at 8:30am to secure the first place.
Next in the line is TUAW blogger Nik Fletcher followed by Tomek Jasinski, Lisa and Coleman (not much details available on the last 2) and they are all weathering some rough weather over at London with rain and it being cold with lows of 3 degrees celcius expected overnight.
We already have live blogging from Nik over at TAUW and Tomek Jasinski from Apple's Regent Street Store itself. Below are some of the links you might be interested in checking out:

The British press/blogosphere all seem to be following the iPhone queues, here are some of the articles:
BBC News - Apple iPhone fever begins to grow
TeleGraph.co.uk - Gadget fans queue in rain to be first to get Apple iPhone
Pocket-Lint - Breaking News: iPhone queues begin!
While the articles by BBC and Telegraph on the event were more about about the iPhone (guys we already know about it), the article by Pocker-Lint is more relevant as it goes into some details of first few who are part of the UK iPhone queue.
If you have got more to add please feel free to put them in the comments.
