Apple iTunes 7.5 Released: Introduces Ability to Activate iPhone wherever Service is Offered

Apple is gearing up for the international launch of iPhone in UK and Germany later this week (9th November) and France sometime soon. Along with QuickTime 7.3, Apple has today also released iTunes 7.5.

The new update includes the following enhancements as per the release notes:

  • iTunes 7.5 features the ability to activate iPhone wherever service is offered.
  • Support for Phase, a new interactive music game designed exclusively for iPod nano (third generation), iPod classic, and iPod (fifth generation).
  • Includes bug fixes to improve stability and performance.

We also got the news that iPhone firmware v1.1.2 could be coming this week which could make the Single-click method to jailbreak the iPhone obsolete.
