iPhone Web App: Google releases Optimized version of iGoogle for the iPhone

After revamping the homepage and launching Mobile Google Notebook for the iPhone last month, its the turn of iGoogle.

Google offers you the ability to create a personalized iGoogle homepage to display your latest Gmail messages, headlines from top news sources or RSS feeds from across the web, weather forecasts, stock quotes, and movie showtimes, bookmarks for quick access to your favorite sites.

Google has released an optimized version of iGoogle for iPhone users so you have access to your personalized iGoogle homepage not only from your computer or laptop but also from the iPhone.

The iPhone optimized version of iGoogle lists all feeds and gadgets in one column with content apparently scaled to the screen with individual tabs available at the bottom of the page.

You can check out optimized version of iGoogle for the iPhone by pointing your iPhone's Safari browser to this url: http://www.google.com/ig/i
