ZiPhone 2.5: Single-Step Method to JailBreak & Unlock iPhone Firmware 1.1.4 Released

It was earlier today that I had mentioned about the ultimate method to jailbreak iPhone 1.1.4 which the iPhone Dev Team were planning to release soon.

But you need not have to wait as iPhone hacking expert Zibri has just released the latest version of his tool, ZiPhone 2.5, to JailBreak and Unlock iPhone Firmware 1.1.4 and you can do all this with a graphical interface for both Mac OS X and Windows.

Jailbreak iPhone Firmware 1.1.4 using iTunes (Coming Soon)

We have seen numerous methods to Jailbreak iPhone firmware from the iPhone hacking community, some of them have been simple while some only for the technically inclined.

However, the preview of the latest Jailbreak method using iTunes from the iPhone Dev Team that is shown in the YouTube video after the jump could make it one of the easiest methods to jailbreak iPhone and it is coming soon for iPhone firmware 1.1.4.

iPhone SDK Event on March 6

Apple seems to be making the headlines this week, it was only yesterday that that Apple had released iPhone Firmware update 1.1.4 and today we have News.com reporting that the Apple is planning the much awaited iPhone SDK event on March 6.

Apple is apparently distributing invitation cards since today morning for "an iPhone software road map" event.

This means we should be finally getting details for Third-Party Applications to be officially released for the iPhone.

iPhone Firmware update 1.1.4 is out, the sixth firmware update since iPhone's launch. Based on initial reports the firmware doesn't seem to unlock any new features and is more for "bug fixes", however the good news so far has been that you can still Jailbreak iPhone running firmware 1.1.4 using Zibri's method.

FindMe + Twitter = iPhone LoJack - Use the App to Track down your iPhone

The iPhone hacking legend has done it again, she has released a native iPhone Application called iPhone LoJack to help you track down your iPhone in case of a theft or loss.

iPhone LoJack internally uses Twitter to send periodic updates telling you exactly where your iPhone is in terms of the location of its nearest cellphone tower.

Native iPhone Application: AppFlow - New Application Launcher with Cover Flow Interface

One of the coolest features of the iPhone has to be Cover Flow, which displays your music collection in an easy-to-navigate interface mimicking the way you flip through CDs or DVDs. Apple was spot-on when they said "If a picture says a thousand words, think of what all the album art in your collection might say."

Erica Sadun, now an iPhone hacking Legend has taken inspiration from this and created a new Application Launcher with cover flow interface to navigate through your iPhone Applications. The latest native iPhone Application is aptly named AppFlow.

iPhone App: Ecamm adds the ability to Add, Edit and Delete Notes directly on your iPhone with MegaPhone

Ecamm Network, have renamed their popular iPhone Application which brought Disk mode to the iPhone and iPod Touch from iPhoneDrive to MegaPhone.

MegaPhone is essentially a new version of iPhoneDrive which adds the ability to add, edit and delete notes directly on your iPhone in addition to enabling you to use your iPhone's or iPod Touch's unused storage space as a disk drive to say backup data or transfer between Macs.
