iPhone SDK beta 6 build 9M2192 released; confirms 3G iPhone is coming soon

Apple has released the latest beta version of the iPhone SDK, build 9M2192 Beta 6 and the iPhone experts have again found something interesting to report to confirm the news reported couple of weeks back here at iPhone Hacks that the 3G iPhone is coming soon.

Everytime there is a new release or build of iPhone SDK, iPhone experts have been able to find out some hidden feature or clue to 3G iPhone in the pre-release iPhone firmware 2.0 that comes bundled with the SDK which is expected to be released in June.

This time too they have found that Apple had added couple of warning strings if a user tries to turn 3G on or off during an active phone call:

- "Disabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to disable 3G?"
- "Enabling 3G will end your phone call. Are you sure you want to enable 3G?"

This seems to be an extension of the 3G feature based on the preference screen that allows users of the new model to disable the 3G Radio and fall back to GPRS/EDGE because the faster service "decreases battery life" that was revealed in the pre-release iPhone firmware 2.0 bundled with the previous iPhone SDK beta version and further confirms the news that 3G iPhone will be announced by Steve Jobs at the WWDC 2008 Keynote on June 9th.

The details of other six beta versions are available below:

The pre-release iPhone firmware 2.0 has already revealed some interesting features:

Based on what we have seen so far; it will be great to know if you plan to update to iPhone firmware 2.0 when it is released in June.
