iPhone Remote v1.1 for iTunes Released

Native iPhone App - iPhone Remote

Apple has just released an update for iPhone Remote for iTunes, which is easily one of the best iPhone apps available on the App Store.

The iPhone Remote works over Wi-Fi and allows you to control the music on your computer or Apple TV from your iPhone.

You can get all the details of the latest version after the jump.

As per the release notes, the iPhone Remote v1.1 gives iPhone users the ability to create Genius Playlists remotely which was introduced in iTunes 8 released last week.

You will also be able to create and edit playlists in iTunes with the latest version of the iPhone app.

The interface for managing remote speakers has been moved to the "Now Playing" screen after tapping on the album artwork.

You can download the update which like the App is available for free, by launching the App Store from your iPhone's home screen and tapping the "Updates" tab or via iTunes.

You can checkout the review of iPhone Remote here.

Please do let us know if you find any undocumented features.
