We are assuming that when you cast your vote on Election day, you will be taking an informed decision. Fit 2 Vote is a fun iPhone app which displays a quote and you need to identify whether it was made by Barak Obama or John McCain.

If you correct identify 50 quotes, the iPhone app will deem you "fit to vote".

Vote Report is the official iPhone app for the 2008 "Twitter Vote Report" project, a non-partisan effort to track the national election process.

You can use this iPhone app to send a quick report about the conditions at your polling place. This will help the media, officials, and watchdog groups of any irregularities which might need attention.

Its one of the coolest use of Twitter though it be interesting to see how they filter out the noise from pranksters.

You can even submit an audio report to describe conditions at your polling place using the iPhone app.

You might have seen CNN's John King using touch screen to calculate the outcome of the 2008 Presidential Elections.

It might not be as cool as the "Magic Wall" John King uses, but iPhone app - Votetastic allows you to calculate the outcome of the elections on your iPhone using its touch screen.

So you can tap a contested state like Ohio and either turn it "red" or "blue." Doing so moves those electoral votes from one side to the other. Its another fun app for election day.

Votetastic which is developed by One Pony costs $0.99. You can download it using this iTunes link.

It will be great to know if you are using any other iPhone app in preparation for Election day and as always don't forget to give us your feedback on these iPhone Apps in the comments below.
