Clippy, the impressive jaibreak iPhone app which brought the missing Copy and Paste feature to the iPhone had a few limitations.
It was not possible to copy text from SMS messages and email using Clippy. You could copy only one item at a time using Clippy unlike ℏClipboard which allows you to copy multiple content to the clipboard.
Ryan Petrich, developer of Clippy has released new version of Clippy which addresses some of these limitations.
After releasing PwnageTool 2.2.5 and QuickPwn 2.2.5 for iPhone firmware 2.2.1 for Mac users earlier in the day, the iPhone Dev team has just released QuickPwn 2.2.5-2 for Windows users.
The QuickPwn tool can be used to jailbreak and unlock 1st Gen iPhone and only jailbreak iPhone 3G. But using QuickPwn or the upgrading to iPhone Firmware 2.2.1 from iTunes will re-lock your iPhone 3G. So iPhone 3G users should use QuickPwn 2.2.5-2 if you DON'T care about unlocking and want to ONLY jailbreak your iPhone 3G.
The iPhone Dev team has released updated versions of their PwnageTool and QuickPwn Tools to jailbreak and unlock the 1st Gen iPhone and jailbreak iPhone 3G running iPhone firmware 2.2.1 that was released by Apple on Tuesday.
The updated PwnageTool will allow iPhone 3G users to create custom firmware (.ipsw) which will preserve the baseband so that it can be unlocked and also bring new features of iPhone firmware 2.2.1.
The latest versions of their iPhone hacking tools are PwnageTool 2.2.5 and QuickPwn 2.2.5. They are currently available only for Mac users. Dev Team will releasing QuickPwn 2.2.5 for Windows users shortly. Dev Team has also released QuickPwn 2.2.5-2 for Windows users.

We are now getting more proof that Apple is preparing to launch new version of the iPhone. Apple has just released iPhone firmware 2.2.1 (5H11A) through iTunes.
The firmware update contains minor bug fixes and improvements such as improved stability of Safari and a fix for an issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll.
During the first-quarter earnings call, Apple’s No. 2 and acting CEO, Tim Cook had warned competitors of legal battle if they try to rip off their intellectual property.
Though Cook had not named any company, it was widely speculated that he was referring to Palm’s Pre as it had features like multi-touch which were similar to the iPhone.
Palm had even gone on the defensive by commenting on that statement: “Apple was not the first to do multi-touch, If faced with legal action, we are confident that we have the tools necessary to defend ourselves.”
If there is indeed a legal battle then things are set to get a lot more difficult as the U.S. Patent Office has just awarded Apple the multi-touch patent.
