Dev Team Release RedSn0w to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS & UltraSn0w to Unlock iPhone 3GS

The iPhone Dev Team had released redSn0w to jailbreak iPhone 3G and UltraSn0w to unlock iPhone 3G couple of weeks back.
Today they have released an updated version of redSn0w (version: 0.8) which can also jailbreak iPhone 3GS.
Dev Team has also released an updated version of UltraSn0w (version: 0.8) which can unlock Apple's third generation iPhone.
So with this, the Dev team has released updated version of their tools which support all iPhones and iPod Touches running iPhone OS 3.0.
As you might already know, Geohot, a member of the iPhone Dev Team was the first to release a software called purplera1n to jailbreak iPhone 3GS.
George Hotz (aka Geohot) had released purplera1n on his personal blog against the wishes of others in the
Dev Team as he didn't seem to agree with the decision that the
jailbreak for iPhone 3GS had to wait until iPhone OS 3.1.
It looks like the Dev Team has also decided to release redSn0w via Twitter and should be announcing it on their blog shortly.
MuscleNerd from the Dev Team has tweeted some more details about their latest hacking tools:
The main 3GS ultrasn0w glitch on hacktivated devices is: need to do Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network settings once
We'll try to eliminate the annoying Reset Network Settings workaround. So many issues are colliding hah (ultra, hacktivate, push)
If ultrasn0w already works for you, 0.8 won't add anything new. This 0.8 is mostly for 3GS users or 3G outliers.
You can download the latest version of redSn0w from the links mentioned below (courtesy folks at modmyi):
