
The 82nd annual Academy awards is getting underway in just a few hours from now. There are a lot of exciting nominations in the fray this year, which makes picking a winner a tough ask.
While we presume that most of you would be catching the action live on TV, there are also iPhone apps for those of you who are likely to miss the live event. This free app also contains several interesting "inside info" on the nominated movies. Additionally, users may also make a prediction under each category and check what others have voted for.

Have a knack for making the right predictions? Here is a chance to win one million dollars. The Red Carpet iPhone app gives you a chance to win this money if you can predict the right winner in all the 24 categories. Besides this, the app will update you on the latest buzz from the Oscars night. A handy app for $2.99 if you are going to miss the live event on TV.

This is a must have free iPhone app for those of you who love celebrity gossip. Check out this app for all the the latest updates, photos and videos from the Kodak Theater as the academy awards gets underway tonight.
