AT&T Blocks Employee Vacations For June; Hints At Launch Of New iPhone

iPhone 4G launching June 22

Boy Genius Report claims that they’ve got a confirmation from multiple AT&T sources that the iPhone carrier has put a block on all employee vacations for the month of June.

This vacation policy indicates that Apple is likely to release the new iPhone in June.

BGR reports:

“Same story as last year and the year before, but we’ve confirmed with multiple AT&T sources that the carrier has now put a block on employees taking vacations in June. The only time AT&T does a straight block like this is for iPhone launches. What’s interesting is, if AT&T is blocking June, perhaps the iPhone will launch a little earlier than July this year.”

We have heard several rumors that indicate that Apple may be planning to launch the new iPhone on June 22.

If you consider the launch of previous iPhone models, Apple usually introduces the next generation iPhone at Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) that is held in June and the new iPhone models are available after few days. For example: In 2009, iPhone 3GS was available after 11 days and in 2010 iPhone 3G was available 32 days after it was introduced at the WWDC Keynote address.

Apple is yet to announce the dates for WWDC 2010, which will tell us exactly when the new iPhone will be introduced but based on the rumors, it looks like it could be June 22.

We can't wait to see the fourth generation iPhone. Let us know what features you want to see in the new iPhone.
