There’re number of iPhone apps that allow users to upload videos from their iPhone’s camera roll to share them with their family and friends on Facebook.
Folks at 9to5Mac have discovered code references in iOS 4 Golden Master, which indicates that it might soon be possible to upload videos directly to Facebook from iPhone’s Camera app.
Currently, iPhone users can send videos to their family and friends via email, MMS or directly upload them to MobileMe or YouTube.
9to5Mac has discovered code references in iOS 4 that was released to developers of the iPhone Developer program earlier this week, which hints at giving iPhone users the ability to upload videos directly to Facebook. The max height and width of the video will be 480, with max frame rate of 30fps.
We had also heard rumors that Apple might integrate Facebook's social features in iOS 4 that could allow users to sync their Facebook contacts with those on the iPhone phonebook. Apple was expected to make an announcement regarding this during the WWDC 2010 but that didn’t happen.
So we’ll need to wait until June 21, when Apple is planning to release iOS 4 to find out if the native Facebook support makes it to the final version.

That should be mandatory!
On an additional/optional app why not, as part of the iOS no thanks …
hello everybody I am one of the regular visitor of the iphone hacks but due to some reason I was not able to come online from last 10 days now i just wanna now from you gyz that does unlocking tool of 3.1.3 version and 4.0 version has released or not i have jailbreaked my iphone 3gs and waiting for unlocking tool i am using 05.12.01 baseband PLZ TELL ME ABOUT UNLOCKING OF 3.1.3 OR 4.0 ????
Guess is couple have been a typo or something, but in the code snippit, it reads we should be able to upload video recorded at 32 fps and you said 30fps in the article.
whats the point of all these connecetd features if providers are no longer offering unlimited data…
so if you wanted to upload 720p footage and your jailbroken, surely you can just change the code and upload HD footage, yes?
its all about the money.
1, release amazing phone
2. increase etf (just in case a better phone comes out in a year)
3, no more unlimited, but make apps and ios4 use more data (hope users go over, which shouldnt be that hard when you first get it and wanna experience all the features)
sit back and relax after knowing you just raped new iphone users for 2 years
Aren't the users that already hav unlimited data going to be able to keep their plan? I'm pre ordering mine day after tomorrow and having it sent to my house (or picked up from the apple store whichever is faster.
Ya know, I kinda agree with him, but they would have to add to their API's to support apps accessing the picture and video file system. Apple would probably rather keep that function system level rather than app level
will defo' be keeping my unlimited data plan if O2 can confirm that they will not change it after october 2010. that simply means 6-700 pounds for the 32gig ip4
I even see on the apple website that it says 30fps. Why does it say up there 32fps??
Bit on the mundane side but does anyone know if the message alerts have been changed or improved or added too in ios4?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I can already upload videos to facebook via my 3gs.
I keep getting a video upload error when i upload it thru the 3g network
