Apple had announced at the special press conference held last week that it will give free cases to all iPhone 4 customers to address concerns raised by iPhone 4 users about its antenna issue.

Apple had also announced that users who had already purchased a bumper for their iPhone 4 will be given a refund.

Macrumors is reporting that Apple has started processing refunds for iPhone 4 bumpers that were placed on Apple’s online store.

Macrumors reports:

Apple has started processing refunds for the iPhone 4 bumper cases to online Apple Store orders. Existing back-ordered bumper cases have also been processed for refund. We expect the process will continue over the next few days. Apple is also expected to provide a method for in-store purchasers to also receive a refund but has provided no details yet.

Apple had also announced that other iPhone 4 users will be able to apply for a free case on Apple’s website late this week so we expect those details to be available very soon.

Did you get your refund? If you’ve received a refund for your bumper case then please do let us know in the comments.
