Long overdued hack which i may most jailbreakers have knew. Wonder if there are any iOS4 themes which can shrink the icons..

  2. A Black Dude says:

im not quite sure y they didnt post an article about the 5 icon dock for the switcher, instead of rehashing out info…

  3. Sebastian says:

Samuel: "Shrink" will do the job, search for it in Cydia. Works fine together with "Iconoclasm" as well, which allows you to have 5×5 icons on the home screen! ;)
However, I would recommend to unlabel the icons with winterboard in that case since some app names are too long if you use shrunken 5×5 icons.

  4. Shattle says:

it's damaging view structure for iTunes, so every time you are connected you are loosing your layout. iOS 4.0.2

Wow…you're really on the ball, iphonehacks.com! (No, really? This post should be at least two years old!)

  7. nismo1 says:

I think they posted this as news because I know that five icon dock wasn't previously compatible with ios4. I've ditched five icon dock anyway and gone with infinidock instead where you can set as many icons as you want, in different 4/5/6 icon layouts.
Will now also install five icon switcher though!

itunes changing the layout. there are no libraries in itunes though there are in my iphone. if i will sync it will change my layout in iphone . any solution ?

  9. iPhoneHacks says:

As nismo1 mentioned (thanks nismo1), Five Icon dock was recently updated to make it compatible with iOS 4.

So this servers as an update for users who already knew about it and it is also useful for new users who didn't know about it.
