I have downloaded iTunes 10 and have a jail-broken iphone 4. I'm having a problem though. When my phone is connected I cannot access my apps to either add more or remove them, when I try iTunes just crashes. I have re-installed iTunes 10 twice now and still having the same problem. Am I the only one or is anyone else having problems with their jail-broken phones?

  19. me says:

I've read on other forums that there is something else causing it crash. The posting was 'its icon support or iconoclasm that crashes it', hope this helps.

  20. T Wilkinson says:

I am having the same problem!!

  21. iOS4 says:

I'm not having any problem at all with itunes 10 with J/B iphone 3GS on 4.01. Installation and everything went smooth and is running like is should. I have also noticed sync and backup is a bit faster.

Those having the problem might want to check their iphone or computer for problems.

I tried iTunes 10 with my jb iPhone 4 running 4.0.1 and my 3G running 3.1.3 and had no issues.

  25. bildungsroman says:

So when you upgraded to iTunes 10 you weren't forced to upgrade your iOS on your 3G?

  26. juliette says:

I have just solved my iTunes crashing when I try to go into apps on my iPhone 4. My problem was I had a plug in on my home page (lockscreen info) which was some how interfering with iTunes, although I have never had this problem before. Simply by removing it from the home screen so that my first screen had apps on it has resolved the problem. I tested it out by re-putting the lockscreen plug-in back on my homes screen and guess what the same problem started, so it seams to now be fixed. If your having a similar problem and have a plug-in running on your home screen or no apps on your first page, then give this a go. Also some one else suggested to me that downloading a new app via iTunes can also fix this problem, but it didn't work for me. Good luck to all those who are having problems

  27. juliette says:

i have fixed my problem. Have put instructions a few comments down. Might be worth a look.
