iPad Hacked To Run Google Chrome OS

iPad Chrome OS

A hacker by the handle Hexxeh has successfully ported Google Chrome OS to the iPad.

Hexxeh who had initially teased us with the image of Chrome OS running on an iPad, has released a video of Google Chrome OS running on an iPad.

Chrome OS is an open source operating system that Google is working for people who spend most of their time on the web that is expected to be installed on tablet devices.

As you can see from the video below of Chrome OS seems to be running quite well on the iPad (except for the unnecessary arrow key):

Chrome OS is not the first OS to be ported to an iDevice. Hackers have successfully ported Linux and Android OS including Froyo (Android OS 2.2) to the iPhone or iPod Touch.

Do you dig the idea of having iOS and Chrome OS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch as a dual boot system?

Lol this would be awesome. Not that I need to have it, but just the possible is enough for me. Same reason why I have google chrome os, ubuntu, and winXP on my MacBook. Along with snow leopard of course.

      It’s all about possibilities.
