President Obama Signs iPad At A Rally

Apple iPad

Sylvester Cann of Seattle might be the owner of the most powerful iPad out there!

No, it ain’t got a better processor and nor did he get it overclocked to insane speeds. He found a different way to boast about that claim – and believe it or not, he is actually being taken seriously!

So how did Sylsvester do it?  Well, all he did was to get his iPad signed by none other than US President, Barack Obama. This happened at a rally in Seattle, WA at the University of Washington.

While most of the people assembled there used the standard ways to greet the President, Sylvester stood right there holding his iPad with a sign that read;

“Mr. President, Sign my iPad”.

The request was duly honored by Obama who looked sort of bewildered initially seeing something very unusual as this.

Cann narrates his experience:

“At a rally in Seattle at the University of Washington, the President signed his autograph on my iPad using the Adobe Ideas app.

Generally, the President doesn't sign autographs along the ropeline because pens can be used as a weapon, so I thought I would try to hand him my iPad with a message on it saying, "Mr. President, sign my iPad".

He looked at it for a second and then used his left hand to sign.

It was kinda funny because he looked up and gave me a big grin afterwards as if he thought it was pretty cool too.”

Already an Internet celebrity, he has even made his own website that details how it all happened.

Good to see a President that's following the technology, like with his blackberry. John McCain would never do that or Bush for that matter.

  2. jdb says:

What the hell are you talking about? He signs a glass screen and he's "following technology"? And Bush or McCain would "never do that" because they are confused on how to use their finger, huh? You're such a moron. Do me a favor. Go to work, and buy everyone an iPad. Share every dime you make, because that's what you liberals do. I'll take mine via usps. Thanks, bitch.

  3. Bullfrog says:

Yes, at least he's following the technology. Maybe he should follow the will of the people instead.

  4. HCWHunter says:

I think I'd rather have a President that had a clue on leadership than one who is Blackberry savvy and has to read everything off a teleprompter in order to speak!

You are resented, full of hate.

  8. RH says:

You are an idiot, and full of stupidity.

  9. shea4y says:

is this a political website? why dont u refrain from slandering our president…thank u.

  10. Hendog says:

Then maybe our president should do some of the things he promised, instead of being totally useless…

  11. Jm20 says:

He even ruined that too… Oh wait. He must have blamed Bush? Jaskass!

  12. Deeznuts says:

Jm20 people like you are idiots. its not an everyday thing where you get your ipad signed by a president, keep your hateful ideas to yourself

  13. Jm20 says:

Typical liberal. Unless someone agree's with you then they are hateful or a racist.

  14. Tim says:

That idiot just ruined his iPad by having the worst President in our nations history sign it. What a waste of a perfectly good iPad.

  15. Misnomer says:

JDB, "What the hell are you talking about?" …in response to you, I ask, What the hell are you talking about?…God, you sound like such a sick, miserable person.

  16. Misnomer says:

Jm20…you call someone a Jaskass (what exactly is a Jaskass?), someone calls you on your hateful remark, and you don't see why? That's an insulting term, and the whole tone of your comment was hateful…say whatever you like in a public forum such as this, but don't act shocked when someone calls you on it. Typical conservative, if someone disagrees with you they are automatically a "liberal"…there is a whole spectrum of political ideation, and if you have fallen for the false polarization of American politics then you may be what you were just called.

  17. Lavender says:

It's completely mind-boggling to me that the people of a "free country" use the tag "liberal" as if it's a bad thing!

  18. Ncheck says:

What a sad little guy you are. You are probably just mad because you can't afford an iPad. And what do u care what he do with his money. Again another sing that tells me you are broke. Dude stop talking shit about what other people think and worry about your self. You no live broke ass bitch.

  19. Zolk says:

Let's see – Wbush: President who suffered a terrorist attack from country B while he was planning to go on a war of choice against country A … still pushes on with war against country A without effectively dealing with country B, on the way misses the chance to head off a financial and economic crisis that's been building for 10 years …
vs.Obama: initiated programs to keep economy holding on (cash for clunkers), to prevent mass insolvency black holes from disappearing the funds of millions of *ordinary* people (bank bail-outs) while the opposition senators urged him to allow natural economic selection to kill those banks (but causing massive financial colateral damage to millions of ordinary folks) – sadly the recovery is going to be much slower and more painful due to how long the crisis was building for before it hit
so I'm guessing that for you:
more war, less abortion = good
greater attempts at economic reform to make it work well for middle classers = bad

  20. Wow. Just Wow. The C4C debacle was imposed at great cost to taxpayers, auto dealers, and car companies, yet you see it as a successes. It was a classic, ill-conceived Statist ploy which simply manipulated consumer buying choices and timing to the 3rd quarter of that year while starving the auto manufacturers and dealerships of revenue in the following three quarters. On top of that, the vehicles that were destroyed as a result of C4C were no longer available to low-income buyers that depend upon the ability to purchase inexpensive used vehicles. In case you haven't noticed, used car prices have spiked since that ridiculous government program.
That "financial and economic crisis that's been building for 10 years …" was repeatedly warned about over those very years, however key Banking and Finance committee members, like Frank (D) and Dodd (D), refused to admit to or act upon the obvious perils inherent in the situation — going so far as to block corrective actions and hide the true extent of the threat. To make matters even worse, once the Democrats secured control of the legislature in 2006, they began gaming the situation for political gain, setting up the inclusion of Goldman and Wall Street hacks within the Obama admin and priming the way for that disasterous 2009 Banking legislation.
You'll come to realize, in time, that the Statist acquisition and control of banking, housing, auto manufacturing, and healthcare over the first two years of Obama's regime was a power grab by Socialist entities who've been waiting for the perfect storm to arrive in order to make their play. Unions, government pensioners, wealthy internationalists, government-preferred businesses, and entitlement whores are set to become the real winners, while the middle class will be tapped of it's wealth in order to create the typical two-tier system common to all Socialist systems. The real genius of the Statists, this time around, has been to co-opt the Democratic party, the green movement, education, and the main financial engines in order to quickly push their agendas past the American people — with willing participation from slow-witted useful idiots like Zolk.

  21. hxclos says:

Which politician doesn't read off a teleprompter?? Oh wait, maybe Sarah Palin, she reads off her hand :/

  22. hxclos says:

It sure is. I guess they don't believe in Liberty.

  23. hxclos says:

You sir will never be happy with government. If you open your mind to rashional ideas you would see that cash for clunkers was a good thing. It helped get rid of gas guzzlers that pollute the earth. It helped the auto companies get a boost of sales and the consumers get a great deal. You seriously want to buy a used car when it was cheaper just to buy a new one?? So go ahead and throw the words Liberal, Socialist or communist; it's all you guys ever do to counter argue.

Have a little pride in America people. I don't think any President, Republican nor Democrat, wants to see America destroyed. This article is what it is, a president signing someones iPad. Move on.
