BGR reports that iOS 4.3 Golden master is ready and will be released anytime soon. The Golden Master version means that it is the shipping version of the software that developers must use to develop and submit apps that are compatible with iOS 4.3.
BGR also claims that Apple will release iOS 4.3 at next week’s media event, where it is widely speculated to unveil iPad 2.

One of our Apple sources has just informed us that it looks like Apple has finalized the code for its upcoming iOS 4.3 release. The build, we're told, is 8F190 for those keeping track.
Maybe we’ll see this release unify the Verizon iPhone OS-wise as well? We’ll probably see this in the wild next week if we had to bet…
BGR had accurately predicted the release date of previous iOS 4.3 beta versions.
It will be interesting to see if iPad 2, which is expected to be unveiled at next week’s event will come pre-installed with iOS 4.3 or some other version.
Here are some of the features and changes that have been discovered in iOS 4.3 beta 1, beta 2 and beta 3 so far:

Mobile hotspot feature for GSM iPhone users that was one of the major features of the Verizon iPhone. It looks like AT&T is already activating this feature for iPhone users running iOS 4.3 beta.

Allows users to stream videos from apps to compatible devices via AirPlay. Apple has also released AppleTV software beta that is required for AirPlay video streaming.

Add contact numbers gets new wait button.

Allows users to cancel app downloads mid-way.

iOS 4.3 will give iPad users the option to use the switch at the side of the device as a mute switch or screen rotation lock.

I don’t know about you but I’ve had a iphone4 since last year and it’s been a paperweight. My question is how long after ios4.3 golden master is released will the unlock be released? I would really like to use my paperweight!
Waiting for 4.3 to come out, which in-turn Ultrasn0w will then release a new version which they promised, so that many of us can unlock our phones who don’t want to upgrade their baseband to iPad 6.15.00.
The Dev team said 1 or 2 days after the released of 4.3
Now I can’t wait for next weekend to be here right now.
Do you guys think a fully functional untethered JB will be released in 1 or two days too?

I had my iphone4 jb and unlocked. I forgot my phone at my cousins house, he decided he wanted some of my song so he proceeded to sync the phone. He accepted to upgrade the phone. Know I have an iPhone4 4.2.1 baseband 03.10.03 with no unlock. I didn’t save my shsh in cydia my only hope to have an iPhone again is an unlock. Will the 4.3 unlock the 03.10.03 baseband?

Thanks Crapple for not releasing IOS 4.3 to the 3G community. I was hoping for a fix to the dodgy alarm call bug and also the wi-fi hot spot function.
Not to worry I’m trying out the customised Whited00r firmware.
So far so good.
I’d forgotten just how fast my 3G used to be on iOS 3x. It has most of the functionality available for iOS 4x, so most of the time I’m not aware of the change.
Will I buy an iPhone 4,5,6? erm… not if Crapple continue on their current “lockdown customer” policy.

I’m still using my first-gen iPhone running ios 3.1.2. It’s almost 4 years old and works great. Jailbreaking has provided the unlock, MMS, and tethering, which was all I really needed to add.
