You might have heard by now that Apple is holding a special event on March 2nd. The graphics on the invitation indicates that Apple will unveil the second generation iPad.
Engadget claims that according to their source, Apple will unveil iPad 2 and also give us a preview of the next version of iOS – iOS 5 at next week’s event.

It's also almost guaranteed that we'll see the next version of iOS (number 5 in all likelihood, along with its SDK for devs), and an expansion of Apple's cloud services (that part is a little... foggy right now).
Apple usually gives a preview of the next version of iOS in April and releases it in June.
Apple is also expected to release iOS 4.3 next week.

I hope you meant 4.3 not 4.2.1, because I already have that. But as for ios5, I would love to see a more android like voice control, that controls everything, and I mean everything.

I’ll second the voice control. I’d also like to see it integrated into maps to voice activate a turn by turn gps. (Fingers crossed.)

I would like different tones for different mailboxes. So I can know by the tone if the email I just got was work or personal.
More on that, I would also like to have different signatures for different mail accounts.
Yeah……… I hope the unlock will come up wit the next few-days of 4.3 ple …. million of ppl was waiting of that program includ me as well .
4.2.1 is out. I knw ios5 was coming cause of the i5 release. 4.3 will not see the light of day.

To borrow a page from the jailbreak community;
1. Short cut access, aka SBSettings styles!
2. That the spring board rotates, ake SBRotate
3. Email attachments can be received and saved, not just pictures!
4. Wouldn’t mind more robust email features, like rules, and customer folders!
5. Assignable customer tunes for email, SMS, and alerts!
iOS5 changes everything, again!
It will be one more thing…
Really the only major thing that Androids have that we don’t is widgets. I’d like to see that, especially one that would let me turn bluetooth off with the touch of one button instead of having to go through a few screens.
Minor (for me) things: turn by turn voice nav and the ability to clear individual calls from recents.
I would like some jailbreakfeatures like SBsettings, upgraded folders with folders in folders, pages in folders, SBrotator for ipod/ iphone and scrollongboard
