Yesterday's status update on iPad 2 jailbreak wasn't too encouraging, but there may still be some hope for iPad 2 users waiting for a jailbreak.
Chronic Dev Team – developers of greenpois0n – a popular tool to jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch on iOS 4.2.1 have commented on the status of the iPad 2 jailbreak and iOS 4.3.x support in greenpois0n.

As I’m sure many people have heard, Josh (posixninja) has recently been quoted saying the iPad 2 jailbreak is coming in “weeks”, I know I have been very publicly abrasive and non-commital on giving any kind of timeframe or comment on this matter, but at the behest of Josh (in conjunction with his need for a swift kick to the ass for motivation) we’re ALL going to hold him to that!!! I’m not going to get into extensive detail about this, but what I will say one of the missing puzzle pieces may have reared its head and cast a glance in our direction… take from that what you will.
4.3.x support in greenpois0n
In the past I have also said that 4.3.x support was on hold for greenpois0n to focus on iPad 2 jailbreak exclusively, our course has slightly changed (primary focus has never shifted from iPad 2 since it was released) it has now become possible to easily update and execute a workflow to enable RC6.2 (tentatively speaking… mmm #dirt) to be released “soon”…
Chronic Dev team had previously revealed that they were working on the iPad 2 jailbreak, so based on their blog post it looks like they’re making good progress.

Whare is the unlock of firmware 04.10.01 on iphone 4 and else, u guys really lost this time……finnaly I can say apple won………nyway i’ve unlocked mine with turbo sim but really won raise this topic..so i did.
Go on eBay and purchase a gevy sim. It’s really cheap now. I already gave up on them so I went that route.

They even say they are working on iphone 4 2.10, 3.10, 4.10 unlock. We all know how hogwash it is.
So it means when a5 iPhone comes out there will be a jailbreak?!?!?
The thing you people don’t understand is the fact that Apple won’t fix whats not broken…. So if we give you a jailbreak and unlock too close to a new release (hardware) then apple will fix it for the new release and we start all over. Be patient these people do what they can when they can. They are close trust me……
hey guys, i have an iphone 4 4.3.3 with the baseband 04.10.01 it was bought in israel and its now locked and cant be used to make calls.
my question is will there be an unlock for me and aprroxamtly when will that happen?

You need gevey sim or turbo sim, it costs about $ 60 on ebay.
