Apple's inspirational co-founder Steve Jobs stepped down as Apple's CEO. Though it was not completely unexpected it still came as a shock to us and we're sure to many of you as well.
The goods news is that we're hearing reports that Steve Jobs who has been elected as the Chairman of the board, will remain actively involved in developing major future products and strategy, while Tim Cook runs the day to day operations as Apple's new CEO.
Steve Woznaik who had founded Apple with Steve Jobs had this to say about Steve Jobs:
"He's probably going to be remembered for the next hundred years as the best business leader of our time. He will watch the company for a while, [and] hope it's on such a good track... for a company as large as Apple, corporate culture doesn't change overnight. The quality of the people doesn't change."
Here are some golden moments of Steve Jobs' incredible career:
Steve Jobs demos Apple Macintosh, 1984
Macworld Boston 1997 - The Microsoft Deal
The First iMac Introduction (1998)
The First iPod Keynote (2001)
Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech (2005)
Introducing the First iPhone (2007)
Introducing the First iPad (2010)
We hope that we can witness more of Steve Jobs' golden moments in the future as Apple's Chairman. If you feel we've missed out any of them, then please drop us a line in the comments.

Steve has done more in 20+ years than you will ever do in your lifetime. iMac, iPod, MacBook, iPhone, iPad, and revolutionized the computer industry. What have you done?
Steve Jobs’ Golden Moments is sleeping with Tim Cook! Hope they show that. Gay lovers
My respect to a man who changed the perception of quality in the technology field, to get more for the same (or less) price…thanks Steve, you´re awesome!!!!
It is great to hear that Steve Jobs is still involved making decisions for Apple. I can’t wait to see more great products.
can you believe 32mb ram and a 4gb hdd in 1998 WOW!
Dude!! That’s what I was thinking!! Man technology has come a long way. I can’t imagine myself using such a computer like that ever. Compared that to an iPhone now
The Microsoft deal shows the charisma of this man. The confidence with which he says, I know Apple will get back up!
I dislike p’ple who talk negatively about Jobs,We are all here, talking this and that coz of Him…. Can’t you see????
Takes a visionary to create a whole new category of devices like iPad. But penetration by the iPhone seems to be the spearhead that pulls in growth for iPads & desktops. CNET just announced (2/7/12) that Apple just inched by Samsung as the top smartphone vendor worldwide…yet Android gets over half of all new smartphone buyers. Gets confusing, but Apple loyalty is amazing…and all consumers are the ultimate winners.
