A report has come in that the new Apple-branded Television that is rumored to be coming next year will come in three sizes, ranging from 32″ to 55″.

The report also claims it will be powered by Apple’s A6 processor, the same processor that is expected to power iPad 3 and the next generation iPhone.

Smarthouse claims that the new Apple-branded TV will be hitting next year.

Sources at a major Japanese company who are involved in manufacturing the TV believe that the 55″ model will compete with new Smart TVs from Samsung and LG that will have new processors built in while offering a combination of OLED display, as well as new Super HD TV technology from LG.

Smarthouse also claimed that the device would also have Siri functionality built-in. MacRumors has pointed out that Smarthouse previously claimed that Apple was looking at OLED technology for the 55-inch sized TV, and that was later refuted, so this may be a somewhat questionable source.

On the other hand, the claim of “new processors” does seem to fit Apple’s history of updating processors across their product line, and with rumors that the iPad 3 will arrive next year featuring an A6 processor.  A previous report by Analyst Gene Munster claimed that the new Apple TVs would come in a range of sizes, as well as being powered by Siri. This claim seems to fit in with the others and doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
