The jailbreak dream team has just released a new version of Absinthe jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, which includes some cosmetic changes, bug fix and support for Linux.

In addition to support of Mac and Windows, the jailbreak dream team has also released Absinthe for Linux users. If you’ve already jailbroken your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 then you don’t need to reapply the jailbreak with the new version.

greenpois0n Absinthe supports the following iOS devices and firmwares:

  • iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0, 5.0.1 (9A405 and 9A406)
  • iPad 2 Wifi/GSM/CDMA running iOS 5.0.1
