Typically these screen protectors are made of plastic. However, folks at Spigen have an interesting solution. They’ve launched a screen protector made of tempered glass to protect iPhone’s screen from damage and scratches.
The tempered glass screen protector is 0.4mm thick and apparently three times stronger than regular PET film. Spigen claims that sharp objects like knives and keys will not scratch their tempered glass screen protector. They have also shot a video to prove it.
The glass screen protector also comes with an oleophobic coating that prevents fingerprints just like iPhone’s LCD screen.
We’ve never felt the need to use a screen protector, but if you are paranoid about scratching your iPhone screen, you may want to check this one out.
The SGP GLAS.t iPhone 4 Screen Protector is available for $27.99 and you can order one from Spigen’s website.
