iOS developer - Akhil Tolani who according to his Twitter profile is only 14 years old has released a nifty jailbreak tweak called SuperSwitcher, which allows you to bookmark your favorite apps so that you can access them easily from a menu above the multitasking bar.
The jailbreak tweak also gives you quick access to some of the commonly used Settings toggles.
Here's a brief description of the jailbreak tweak from Cydia:
Don't you just hate searching for your favorite app icon in between so many springboard pages? wish you could just "bookmark" your favorite apps in your Multitasking Bar... Now you can with SuperSwitcher!!
With SuperSwitch you can bookmark your 9 favorite apps in a menu above the Multitasking Bar, The apps can be set through settings
But thats not all you can also change system settings right from the menu above the multitasking bar like toggle bluetooth, toggle wifi, change brightness & volume, respring, reboot, safe mode, tweet, sms, call anyone, lookup google and alot of many other things!!
it takes your Multitasking bar (Apps Switcher) to a whole new level!

The jailbreak tweak works exactly as advertised and makes good use of the empty space above the multitasking bar.

He sure doesn’t like updating his cydia lol
I would love this if I could use it in conjunction with Multiflow in expose mode.
Seems like a knock off of sbsettings, but with a different GUI.
I agree, you can do the same in SBSettings adding up to 12 icons without even touching the home button.
So cool this app is, really awesome.
who want to buy noob.. only noob will buy.. it already disturb my view if i’m playing games noob.
Why not create a folder with your favorite apps and name the folder that way.
So why buy this if you can do it yourself??
Multicleaner is still the best
