If you’re looking for an app that can sync Google Chrome’s bookmarks, open tabs and history from your computer to your iPhone, iPad or iPad touch so that you can continue browsing while on the go, then check out Chrome Sync Pro, which was recently released in the App Store.
For Chrome Sync Pro to work, you need to install a Chrome browser plugin, which essentially pulls the bookmarks, open tabs and history from Chrome running on your computer and stores it in a Google Doc in your account.
The Chrome Sync Pro app then accesses the Google Doc using OAuth and allows you to tap on the bookmarks, open tabs and history links on your iOS device.
We’re very serious about data safety, so we do not store any of your data on our server, instead we creatively use your own Google doc account to store data.If you trust Google, you can be confident about our data security.
This is a very useful app if Chrome is the default browser on your iOS device.
Chrome Sync Pro is a universal that works on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and is available in the App Store for $0.99. You can download it using this direct iTunes link.
As always, let us know what you think in the comments.
