The ad dubbed “This Good” carries on from where Apple left off with the iPad 2 commercials, in which Apple highlighted that technology such as specifications alone is not enough, the device needs to be intuitive to the point where technology gets out of the way, to make the experience delightful and even magical.
With the new iPad Apple believes that it has elevated that experience by improving some of the key elements like the ultra high-resolution Retina Display.
The voice-over in the commercial tells us:
“When a screen becomes this good, colors are more vibrant. Words are pin sharp. Everything is more brilliant. Because when a screen becomes this good, it’s simply you and the things you care about. The stunning Retina Display on the new iPad.”
