While there are a number of apps that have been released by cable companies that allows subscribers to watch premium TV on your iOS device, they have been limited to work only over Wi-Fi, unless you use jailbreak tweaks to bypass this limitation.
But now you can watch some of the major TV stations from the US, UK, France, Germany and Italy on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Apple TV (via AirPlay) for free using a new web app.
Since it is a web app that works on mobile Safari, you can watch it over Wi-Fi as well as over 3G and you can also watch it on your Apple TV 2 and Apple TV 3 via AirPlay.

We didn’t have any problem watching NBC on our iPhone, but looks like some users are having trouble, probably due to high load on their servers.
