
Facebook has released a new version of the their standalone messenger app – Facebook Messenger.
The new version brings some new features such as the ability to quickly switch conversations with in-app notifications, see who’s available and swipe to delete messages.
Facebook has also added larger photos to the Messenger app, which you can tap for full screen and pinch to zoom.
With features such as read receipts, typing indicator that were introduced in the last update and in-app notifications, Facebook Messenger has evolved into a cross-platform instant messaging app.

Facebook has also released an update for the Pages Manager app, which includes the following new features and improvements:
- View and reply to messages
- Adjust how often you receive notifications about Pages activity
- See answers to questions and guest lists for events created on your Pages
- Insights added for checkins
- Bug fixes and performance updates
