Apple Starts Prepping Yerba Buena Center For Next Week’s iPhone 5 Event [Updated]

With less than 5 days to go for the hugely anticipated September 12 media event, Apple has started preparing Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco where the event will be held.

The exterior graphics for such events are typically tied to the graphics found on the invitation sent for the event, but Apple has been using its logo for iPad launch events.

Based on the initial progress photos posted by MacStories, it looks like Apple is planning to use its logo for this event as well.
Apple is widely expected to unveil the next generation iPhone at the event, which based on event invite will most likely be called iPhone 5.
Apple may also launch new iPod touches, new iPod nano and a tweaked iPod shuffle at the event and we also expect Apple to announce the release date for iOS 6.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific or 1:00 PM Eastern.
Check out the photos of the Yerba Buena Center:
Update 1:
As expected, the banner outside Yerba Buena Center is almost ready and as we had predicted Apple has used its logo. The colorful banner looks like the iPad 3 event signature.
