As you probably heard by now, iPhone 5’s camera comes with a new Panorama mode that allows users to take multiple photos, which are then stitched together to create a panoramic photo of up to 28 megapixels.
If you’re an iPhone 4S users then the good news is that the Panorama mode is coming to iPhone 4S with iOS 6.
Developers have reported that the new Panorama mode is available in iOS 6 GM that was released yesterday. Panorama mode was first discovered in iOS 5 and you could enable it using a simple hack or installing a jailbreak tweak called Firebreak. However, it wasn’t too popular as the performance was quite poor. But it looks like Apple has address the performance issues.

A number of apps such as Pano that are available in the App Store that allow users to take panoramic photos, but having this ability in the native Camera app would be pretty cool. We also liked Apple’s implementation of the feature.
Apple has announced that iOS 6 will be released on September 19.
