Some iPhone 5 Pre-Orders Arriving Early

We’ve received tips from several readers who are reporting that their iPhone 5 pre-orders are being delivered earlier than expected.

They had pre-ordered their iPhone 5 on September 14th after the launch day stock were exhausted.

Their iPhone 5 pre-orders were originally estimated to be delivered in the first week of October, but they have received an email from Apple informing them their order has already shipped and is scheduled for delivery on Thursday, September 27.

 We’re happy to let you know that the items are on their way to you. We also included delivery estimates and tracking information next to your shipping address.

MacRumors has also confirmed that they’re also hearing the same thing from their readers.

Apple has announced that it received 2 million iPhone 5 pre-orders in the first 24 hours and is expected to announce the iPhone 5 sales numbers on Monday.

    My order got shipped i have a tracking number is in Alaska the order even do was on prosecing on the bank for 3 days got a rufunded i wonder if they going to charge me again has anyone experiencing the same?

      You DO know they come through Alaska on the way into the continental US, right?

          I’m having the same issue in the UK, I received my iPhone on Friday an they took the money out of my account, and then put it back in. I rang up apple an they are looking into it

            They don’t charge until it ships.

    I preordered mine on the 14th and it arrived on Friday 21st :-)

    I didn’t preorder
    I walked into BestBuy in Toronto at noon on launch day
    Asked if they had any IPhone5 left
    Walked out 15 mins later with a new iPhone lol

    I preordered at 5:30 est on the 14th. So my original ship del date was oct 4. 2 days ago it changed to the 27th.

    I pre ordered around 11 am on the 14th. My order status never changed from “processing” on AT&T, but my iPhone 5 just showed up on my doorstep Friday!

    I preordered through AT&T and received confirmation email of the preorder saying i’d receive it on the 21st… The money was taken from my account, then my order status has has “processing” ever since. No shipment email, and on the 20th the money was back in my account. Not sure what’s going on.

    I order 2 iPhones, 16 and 64, on sep 14!, yesterday I receive at 1am the my 64 was ship and today receive other notice that the 16 was ship too and delivery at same Day on Friday 28!!! A week early !!!!! Cool!!!!!

    Just got my conformation that mine will be here Tuesday! Was estimated through AT&T at 2-3 weeks

    Preordered 64 from Apple on the 14th says not due until Oct 5. I went to Best Buy the following Monday cause I am impatient preordered 64 and cancelled my order with Apple but it didn’t come in on 21st. Went into AT&T yesterday and walked out with a white 64. That’s all they had left. Pays to be impatient!!!

    OBTW cancelled my order with Best Buy after I bought from AT&T.

    I’ll never pre-order it unless I want to wait till midnight to place the order. I was pissed by AT&T’s misleading info(long story). But now I calmed down, it’s just a phone. I can wait. Especially I compared it with my iPhone 4(IOS 6) at the store, didn’t feel a lot improvement and fresh idea at iPhone 5, only thing I like is the light weight. That is it.
    To be honest, after spending about half an hour at apple store testing iPhone 5, I don’t even think I would play around with my own iPhone 5 after I received it. Guess one hour is definitely more than enough. I regret I wasted so much time and effort to try to get this phone, I feel that I was way too over acted. Won’t happen to me again.
