The entry-level 16GB iPad mini is sold out for launch day on Apple’s U.S. online store.
The shipping estimates for the 16GB iPad mini-orders (Wi-Fi only model) has slipped to two weeks in less than 48 hours after iPad mini pre-orders went live.
Apple sold out of its launch day stocks for the white iPad mini (Wi-Fi only model) in the U.S. in less than 20 minutes on Friday. Apple sold out of its launch day stocks for the 16GB black iPad mini in the U.S. earlier today. Apple still says it will deliver 32GB and 64GB iPad mini (Wi-Fi only) models on November 2nd.
The iPad mini stock for the launch day in other countries seems to be even more limited. The shipping estimates slipped to two weeks in most countries immediately after pre-orders went live.

Apple will be delivering the first pre-orders of iPad mini Wi-Fi only models on Friday, November 2nd and Wi-Fi+Cellular models in mid to late November.
If you haven’t pre-ordered your 16GB iPad mini yet, then you should be able to buy one directly from Apple’s retail store or select Apple resellers on November 2nd or opt for the bigger storage capacity models.
Meanwhile, Apple still lists delivery estimates as November 2nd for the 4th generation iPad, which was also available for pre-order on Friday along with the iPad mini.
