While we eagerly wait for our iPad mini order to be delivered on Friday, November 2nd – the official launch day, it looks like one lucky person in France has already got his/her hands on one, as iGen.fr has just posted the first unboxing photos of Apple’s smaller iPad.
iGen.fr (via 9to5Mac) reports that their reader had pre-ordered the iPad mini through French reseller Darty. The report also claims that other resellers like Auchan have also started receiving iPad mini shipments.
According to the iGen’s reader, iPad mini is very light compared to the full-sized iPad and the finish is remarkable. He also wasn’t too bothered about the lack of Retina Display.
As you can see in the unboxing photos below, Apple has used a similar box for the iPad mini as the full-sized iPad. The iPad mini comes with a Lightning to USB cable and USB power Adapter.
iPad mini goes on sale in 34 countries on Friday, November 2nd.
