It might still be Thanksgiving in North America, but in Australia and New Zealand it’s Black Friday already, which means their savings have just begun.

MacStories points out that the “It’s Friday somewhere” adage is especially true right now, since it’s Black Friday in some parts of the world and they are seeing the special one day deals from Apple.

Shopping event prices are solely available on 23 November, 2012, from 2:01 a.m. to 24 November, 2012, 1:59 a.m. in AEDT, are subject to change, and include GST. Promotional pricing cannot be combined with any other offers. Not all sale products are available in all Apple Retail Stores. Product specifications are subject to change. Sale prices are limited to stock on hand and while supplies last. One Day Sale discount prices available for end users only. Not available to distributors, dealers or resellers.

The discounts on devices like iPads and iPod range from A$11-41 (the iPod nano is A$11 off the regular A$158), MacsBooks A$105 off, and other accessories (AirPorts, Time Capsule, covers, etc) from A$7–21 off.

This is the usual scale and number of discounts Apple offers for Black Friday. When the deals go live for Europe and North America, we’ll let you know.

FYI, it may well be Thanksgiving in the USA today but its certainly not in all of North America. Canada celebrates Thanksgiving in October.
