AT&T Offering Refurbished iPhone 5 For $99

Planning to buy an iPhone 5? Don’t mind a refurbished one? Then you can get a refurbished 16GB iPhone 5 for just $99 ($100 discount) on a two-year contract.

As 9to5Mac points out, AT&T is the first to offer refurbished iPhone 5 units.

At the moment, AT&T seems to have stock of both black and white versions of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB refurbished iPhone 5 units. They’re available for $99, $199 and $299 respectively with a two-year contract.

Please note that the refurbished iPhone 5 units come with a 3-month warranty and the usual 14-day return policy offered by AT&T.

If you are interested then you may want to get one from AT&T’s website as soon as possible as we’re assuming that they’ve limited stock.

I purchased my iPhone 5 from AT&T and I can say it didn’t look or act used. The only thing that urked me is AT&T does not put it in an iPhone box but a generic, banged up box with only an AT&T logo. Thats what you get for 99$ though! The other thing to mention is after I’d had my service and iPhone 30 days with AT&T I applied via their web form to have my iPhone 5 unlocked which got approved within 24 hours. 72 hours later I did as instructed and iTunes verified my iPhone was unlocked.
