Apple has started advertising the new iPad mini on the back cover of magazines such as The New Yorker and Time (as you can see above).
As 9to5Mac points out, it seems to be the first time Apple has used run print ads for a new product.
The ads are quite clever, they show how the iPad mini can be used to access the digital copy of the magazine using the Newsstand app.
Apple has also started running a number of television ads for the iPad mini, which show customers how much smaller the iPad mini is compared to the full-sized iPad and also drives home the idea that everything you do on the full-sized iPad can also be done on the smaller iPad.
