As expected, some customers who had pre-ordered their LTE iPad mini and iPad 4 are reporting that they’ve received their shipments earlier today or seing their packages out for delivery, according to reports on MacRumors and 9to5Mac.

When Apple unveiled the iPad mini and the 4th generation iPad last month, it announced that the Wi-Fi models will be available in stores starting November 2nd, while the cellular models will be available from mid November.

It’s still not clear when the LTE iPad mini and LTE iPad 4 will be available in Apple’s retail stores and authorized resellers as Apple hasn’t made an announcement yet. But reports indicate that the store launch is imminent as they’re already on the shelves at some Apple stores.

Would be nice to have the Mini be able to be able to use a Voice Plan just like the iphone, and be able to send and receive Native Cell Voice Calls. With this option it could compete with phones like the Galaxy Note 2 . For those of us who rarely talk on the phone it would be a great choice to park your Phone Number.
