Jailbreak Tweak Makes it Easier to Share Text on Facebook Using Action Menu

Action Menu is one of our favorite jailbreak tweaks. It enhances the copy/paste menu and allows you to quickly tweet highlighted text or lookup highlighted text on Google Search, Wikipedia, Dictionary and Google Translate.

iOS developer – Merlin has released a new tweak on Cydia that adds Facebook functionality to the popular jailbreak tweak. The jailbreak tweak aptly called Facebook For Action Menu allows you to quickly share highlighted text on Facebook.

The developer has used the deep Facebook integration used in iOS 6.0, so it works as seamlessly as the Tweet feature in Action Menu. When you highlight the text and tap on the new Facebook button from the copy/paste menu, it will launch the Facebook share sheet with the highlighted text. You can add additional comments and tap on the Post button to share the text with your family and friends on Facebook.

You can enable or disable the Facebook sharing feature via the Settings app (Settings -> Action Menu -> Facebook).

The cool thing is that Facebook for Action Menu is available for free on Cydia. So if you’ve a jailbroken iOS device running iOS 6 or later then install it from Cydia and let us know what you think of the tweak in the comments below.
