SLightEnhancerSearch: Jailbreak Tweak Adds Search Options For Cydia, Facebook, YouTube, And More To Spotlight

Most people seem to have a love/hate relationship with Spotlight for iOS. But a new jailbreak called SLightEnhancerSearch might give you few more reasons to use the feature.

The jailbreak tweak adds tons of new search options such as App Store, iBooks, Cydia, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter etc. to Spotlight.

So after installing the jailbreak tweak, when you search for something using Spotlight, you will be able to launch the App Store, iBooks, Cydia, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter app directly from Spotlight and the jailbreak tweak will take you to the appropriate search page and auto-populate the keyboards.

By default the search options are disabled. You need to launch the Settings app and navigate to SLightEnhancerSearch, enable the options and tap on Apply Changes to respring, and you should now see the new search options when you do a search using Spotlight.

SLightEnhancerSearch is available for free on Cydia so give it a shot and let us know what you think of the jailbreak tweak in the comments.
