iH8sn0w has released a new version of F0recast – a popular tool for jailbreakers as it tells you if your iOS device is jailbreable (tethered or untethered), unlockable etc.
F0recast 1.4 comes with a number of new features including the ability to inform whether you’ve SHSH blobs on Cydia, but has lost the ability to check factory unlock status due to legal reasons.
Here’s what’s new in F0recast 1.4:
- Now shows available SHSH blobs stored on Cydia’s TSS server. (kudos to @iNeal for the idea).
- Provides a link to the list of firmwares available for the connected device. (Courtesy of @icj_’s API).
- Slight UI changes.
- Added support for latest scenarios.
- Added new devices (iPhone 5, iPod touch 5, iPad mini, etc).
- Built-in update check.

While we continue to eagerly wait for the jailbreak iOS 6 or later for newer iOS devices, it is good to see the jailbreak community contuning to release new and updates for jailbreak tweaks and tools like Forecast.
