Google Maps For iPhone Arrives In The App Store

As expected, Google has just released the much-awaited Google Maps for iPhone.

Here’s the brief description of the app:

Navigate your world with Google Maps, now available for iPhone. Get comprehensive, accurate and easy-to-use maps with built-in Google local search, voice guided turn-by-turn navigation, public transit directions, Street View and more. Use Google Maps to discover great places to eat, drink, shop and play, with ratings and reviews from people you trust. Google Maps for iPhone comes with the following features:

* Get voice guided, turn-by-turn driving directions.

The Google Maps app is available for iPhone and iPod touch (4th generation or later), iOS 5.1 and higher. It is available in more than 40 countries and 29 languages, including Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

It looks like the app hasn’t┬ápropagated┬áthroughout Apple’s servers, so you may want to try again after sometime. Let us know if the app is available in your country.
