In case you haven’t heard by now, a few weeks back, Rockstar Games announced its plans of releasing an iOS (and Android) port of its highly popular game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the classic. Rockstar Games has released a trailer for the mobile edition of the game, giving us a look at how the graphics of the game might look like on the small screen.
GTA: Vice City, originally released in 2002, is set in 1986 in Vice City, a fictional place modeled after Miami. The gameplay revolves around prison escapee and member of Liberty City mafia, Tommy Vercetti, who’s been instructed to to work in Vice City as buyer of drugs. As a player, you’re responsible for Vercetti’s rise from a small part of the mafia to Vice City’s undisputed crime kingpin.

Rockstar says that the game will have improved graphics, updated gameplay techniques suited for touchscreens and Retina support. GTA:Vice City for iOS will be available on the App Store starting December 6th for $4.99. Supported devices are iPad, iPad mini, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S & iPhone 4, iPod touch 4th & 5th Generation.
