I had gotten pretty tired of the whole Angry Birds thing, at least until all the apps went on sale! I took that opportunity to get a few of the apps I didn’t have (Star Wars and Space, actually) and I found that Angry Birds Space is pretty freaking fun (and amazing) to play. The nuances of gravity add so much more “fun with physics” to the game. Today Angry Birds Space has an update with 30 new levels and a new physics challenge for you—water.
I haven’t started the Water Levels (it might be a while too, I haven’t finished all the Red Planet levels yet), but the pictures and description look/sound awesome:

I know Angry Birds isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I know that lots of us have grown wiry of it, but if you want to show people, kids especially, how gravity affects falling objects, Angry Birds Space is the best way I know how. My ten year old son got a bunch of the Angry Birds games over the holidays (all the free ones I think) and agrees with me, Space is the most fun.
So fling a bit with physics and have some fun.
