Auxo 1.2 Brings New Toggles, VIP Apps, Activator Support And More

Auxo – the awesome replacement for the iOS app switcher and our favorite jailbreak tweak of 2012 will soon get an update with a number of new features such as ability to hide toggles, new toggles for Flashlight, VPN, respring, native Activator support etc.

Auxo 1.2 is now available on Cydia.

Here’s a complete list of new features and improvements expected in the new version of Auxo (v1.2):

  • The ability to hide toggles you don’t want to appear in the switcher.
  • New Toggles: Flashlight, Vibration, Location, Respring, and VPN.
  • Three rows for toggles
  • The ability to place the toggles before the playback controls.
  • Disable the ask dialog prompt to remove apps faster from the app switcher.
  • “VIP” apps to stay open/ignore a ‘remove all’ action
  • Native Activator support
  • Support for more languages
  • Various bug fixes

Check out the video walkthrough of Auxo 1.2 by Jeff Benjamin of iDownloadblog who has managed to get early access to the update:

The update is expected to hit Cydia today, we’ll let you know as soon as it is released. Auxo is available on Cydia for $1.99.

It is great to see developers adding new features to jailbreak tweak, which is already one of our favorite jailbreak tweaks. We hope that they add support in landscape mode soon.

Auxo 1.2 is now available on Cydia and it’s brilliant. We hope they also add toggle for Do Not Disturb, now that we have three rows for toggles.

    Does it work with zephyr?

    • iPhoneHacks

Yup it does and it’s pretty cool to use the two tweaks together.

Anyone know if it’ll work on iPhone 5 w/ 6.1?

  • dan

The toggles don’t seem to show up on the ipad. Im on ios 6.1. Works fine on the iphone 4 though.

    • iPhoneHacks

It’s not compatible with the iPad. Developers are working on the iPad version, so you should probably wait for it.

Is it possible to completely disable the toggle/brightness page? I only want app switcher and iPod controls. (I know I could just not slide over to it but I still would like an option to turn it off.) thanks
