DismissMyKeyboard: Jailbreak Tweak Allows You To Quickly Hide Your iPhone’s Keyboard
Have you been in a situation where you want to dismiss your iPhone’s keyboard?
A jailbreak tweak aptly named DismissMyKeyboard, which was released recently, allows you to do just that.
Unlike the iPad, the iPhone does not have a key that allows you to hide the virtual keyboard, which can be a pain sometimes while using apps like Notes.
After installing DismissMyKeyboard, swiping on the space button towards the return hides the virtual keyboard.
The jailbreak tweak doesn’t add an icon on the Home screen or need any configuration. You can start using the hack immediately after installing it.
You can check out the brief video walkthrough of the jailbreak below:
DismissMyKeyboard is available for free on Cydia. It’s similar to the Pull to Dismiss jailbreak tweak released by Ryan Petrich last year, which we find a lot more intuitive than this one. It allows you to dismiss the keyboard by swiping down to the face of the keyboard. You can check out this post for more details about Pull to Dismiss.
As always, let us know what you think in the comments below.
Note: If you’re wondering which theme the YouTube user has used in the demo, its the Matte Square Theme.
